The Bachelor of Arts in Communication – Digital Media Design program aims to achieve the following
objectives:
Equip students with the necessary knowledge to accomplish tasks based on digital media design in
accordance with sound scientific and artistic principles.
Provide students with both basic and advanced skills required of professional digital media and
multimedia designers.
Supply the community with academically and professionally qualified designers ready to integrate and
contribute positively to the workforce.
Develop and enhance students’ abilities to execute digital media design projects with
professionalism, craftsmanship, and distinguished creative and critical skills.
Improve the quality of digital media design education by advancing both theoretical and practical
aspects through a curriculum that meets field requirements and market needs.
Advance research in digital media design in collaboration with relevant professional and academic
institutions, both locally and internationally.
Provide academic services and technical consulting in the field of digital media design to relevant
organizations and entities.
Strengthen partnerships with organizations involved in digital media design to facilitate student

Identify the principles, theories, and professional standards used in communication sciences and

Critically evaluate the components, dimensions, and developments of media content and digital design
projects.
Differentiate among research types, methodologies, and tools used in communication studies,
employing various statistical techniques to address media challenges.
Independently or collaboratively execute digital media design projects creatively and efficiently
from conception to completion.
Produce media works and digital designs that comply with prevailing professional standards, ethical
