Position Purpose:
The College of Business at the University of Al Dhaid invites applications for a Visiting Faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Business Management. This is a one-semester academic appointment aimed at experienced scholars who are passionate about teaching and mentoring undergraduate students. The successful candidate will be expected to teach core and advanced management courses, actively contribute to the academic development of the college, and support quality assurance and student engagement initiatives during the term of appointment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate courses in various fields of management (e.g., Principles of Management, Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior).
  • Deliver high-quality, student-centered instruction.
  • Engage in student mentoring, project supervision, and academic advising.
  • Contribute to course and curriculum development aligned with current trends in management education.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and college activities.
  • Support the college’s efforts in achieving excellence in teaching and learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or DBA in Business Administration, Management, or a closely related discipline (accredited by the Ministry of Education).
  • Minimum of three years of university-level teaching experience post-Ph.D.
  • Demonstrated teaching competence in both Management and Marketing fields is preferred.
  • A strong academic background with evidence of teaching effectiveness (e.g., course evaluations).
  • Experience in curriculum development and knowledge of academic accreditation standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural academic environment.
  • Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
